Spot UV lays a raised, glass-clear gloss over your logo or name so it lifts away from a matte background, while hot foil presses real metallic gold, silver, rose gold or copper into the stock for a mirror shine. Add blind embossing or debossing and you get a card people leave on the desk instead of filing away. Frequently Asked Questions

Is there a minimum quantity for foil or spot UV?
Foiling needs a metal die, so these finishes make sense from larger runs upward rather than for a handful of cards. We keep the die on file, which makes every reprint you order later cheaper than the first run.
How long do special finish cards take?
Allow a few extra working days after artwork approval. Making the die is the longest step, so approving your design early is the single fastest way to shorten the schedule.
Will my logo work with foil stamping?
Send us the vector file and we will check it at no charge. Very fine hairlines and small gradients do not foil cleanly, and where that is the case we will suggest a small adjustment or spot UV instead.
